1) For those of us who aren't fortunate enough to get a good 8 hour's sleep at night, eye bags are inevitable. A good concealer will work wonders for hiding the extra baggage. Remember your concealer should be one or two shades lighter than your foundation.
Recommended brands: elf, Sleek and B.by Superdrug.
2) Particularly in those winter months, lips can become dry and chapped. To keep them soft and smooth you should be applying lip balm, particularly if you spend time outdoors.
Recommended brands: Vaseline lip therapy, Burt's Bees.
3) Even if you're not someone who likes a lot of colour in their cheeks, a cream blusher can really make a difference. The benefit of a cream blusher is that it is buildable and blendable allowing you to apply as much or as little as you like.
Recommended brands: Peaches and Cream, B.by Superdrug, Glossier Cloud Paint.
4) Whether you have a full and even pair of brows or you're like me and over plucked as a teenager, everyone could do with a little brow spruce! An eyebrow pencil can really add definition to brows that are a little sparse, whilst a comb will neaten up any unruly areas! Lots of brands now do two in one pencil and brush tools and can also be quite cheap!
Recommended brands: Rimmel, Wet n Wild, NYX, Revolution Pro.
5) For everyday makeup, I love to look like I'm ready for the day (even if I don't feel it!) One of my secrets to bright eyes is a nude coloured khol eye liner. Applied to the water line, the effect of the liner will create a more open eyed effect and add that subtle wide awake look. Remember to go for a nude shade as opposed to a white eye liner.
Recommended brands: Barry M, NYX, MAC, PS...(Primark)
